Magazine writing

Read my essay in the memoir section of the May issue of More. Even if you don't cry, I think this is a story you'll remember.

What's the hardest thing you've had to do for someone you loved?

I write personal essays and articles about families, parenting, marriage, divorce, and dating. In the past year my work has included a humorous story about my husband’s midlife romance with European luxury cars, serious pieces about the legal aspects of marriage, and memoirs about the end of my mother's life.

In addition to developing my own story ideas, I also welcome assignments from editors. Learn more about how I work.

My writing has been published in More Magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, three volumes of the Cup of Comfort series of anthologies, and aired on KQED, an NPR station.

“Anne-Christine is the kind of writer editors dream about - one whose response to an edit is swift and masterful. It is a pleasure to work with her.”
